You already know that I'm sick, I like to write, and I'm stubborn. But of course I'm more than that, so here's a bit more about me.
Favorite Book: The Time Traveller's Wife. Seriously, if you haven't read this book you're missing out!
Favorite Movies: Forrest Gump (fun movie to be a part of, great movie to watch), Castaway, Shawshank Redemption
Favorite Series: Harry Potter - perfect books and movies for my obsessive mind to, well, obsess over.
Favorite Video Games: The Final Fantasy Series, Star Ocean: The Second Story
Favorite Teams: SF 49ers, UCLA teams, USA Softball
Favorite Musicians: Richard Marx, Sara Mclachlan, Roxette, Savage Garden, Christopher Cross, Wilson Phillips
In my ideal world politicians would show that they care about Americans and the world instead of saying that they do. Instead of raising tons of money to fund their campaigns, wouldn't it be nice if they did something with the money people would like to donate to them, like encourage their supporters to contribute money to their favorite charities? How can anyone who truly cares pour millions of dollars into campaining and telling us why the other person isn't right for us? Why can't they just tell us and show us why they are the right candidates for the job and start the effort by making sure money goes to education and medical research and things that will actually make a difference? I guess I'm just a dreamer who'd like to see progress made instead of being bombarded with negative campaign ads.
